Hey lift system - An online platform connecting people for city communte.

Hypothesis

Creating an online platform designed to facilitate ride-sharing for daily commutes. This platform would allow individuals to offer lifts to others travelling on the same route at a specified time, in exchange for a monetary contribution. Here's a detailed breakdown

This hypothesis aims to address the growing need for cost-effective, sustainable commuting options while leveraging the underutilized capacity of personal vehicles.

Core Concept

  • The platform connects drivers who have available seats in their vehicles with passengers looking for a convenient, cost-effective way to commute.

  • Both parties benefit: drivers offset their travel cost, and passengers gain access to a more comfortable and potentially quicker commute.

Problem

During my problem space research, I discovered that despite the availability of various transportation services, they still struggle to meet the needs of a large population—particularly on digital platforms.

Online cab services like Ola, Uber, Meru, and Rapido are present in most cities, yet they often fall short in addressing the overall demand.
